BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS

Walk-ins will be accommodated as the schedule permits.

High blood pressure, often called hypertension, affects millions of people increasing their risk for heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and kidney disease. It often has no symptoms. The only way to know if you have high blood pressure is to have it measured. You can help maintain a health blood pressure by exercising, eating healthy (diet low in fat and salt, increasing your fruits and vegtables), being the right weight for your height, limiting intake of alcohol, and not smoking.

Free blood pressure checks are provided by a Public Health Nurse.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30  p.m.
