Our department inspects school buildings and associated playground equipment, if present, once a year in accordance with the requirements in Ohio Revised Code Sections 3701.931 to 3701.936.  Our inspections look at the physical condition of the buildings, overall building sanitation (hallways, classrooms, and restrooms), and the overall condition and safety of associated playground equipment in an effort to assure the health and safety of school children and school staff.  School cafeterias are also inspected as part of our Food Protection Program.
