2-3-12 The Medina County Health Department Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Division and Medina Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital, are partnering to present Medina County’s 9th Annual Baby Fair. The Baby Fair is sponsored by Child Source. The Baby Fair will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Edward A. Hall Conference Center (Entrance A), at Medina Hospital. This free event will provide information about health, nutrition, breastfeeding, and community services for infants, toddlers, and expecting parents. Car seat safety education will be provided at the Baby Fair. The Medina County Health Department has protected the health of Medina County citizens since 1918. Services are partially funded by your local property tax health levy. 1-23-12 In 2006, Jamie McNeeley began her journey to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) while working for the Medina County Health Department Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Division as a Certified Lactation Counselor. The program included hundreds of counseling hours and specialized training as well classes on child and maternal health. Jamie finished the IBCLC program and passed the exam in 2011.
